I'm wondering what everyone is wearing for a safety system. I'm looking for something that is easily adjusted and goes on and off easy. I am not in the habit of using a harness and had a close call hanging stands. I am going to get one before season starts but I need some help selecting one thanks.
It have to say the hss ultra lite flex is by far the best harness on the market. I've tried most out there and they all have flaws except the flex
I'll give another nod to the HSS Flex. I have two of them - one for hanging stands and one for hunting in - and they work great. Never climb a tree without it.
I wore an HSS for years, and they are fine harnesses. Switched to a rock climbing harness this year and I'll never go back to a traditional hunting style harness.
I tried that too when I first started out.....only lasted one trip. They are confusing, and a pain in the arse
The muddy safeguard is pretty good. I have the gorilla gtac air , its solid but has exposed metal and tend to be loud. Now I just used the one that came with my muddy stand and use the gorilla for hanging stands and such. When I pick up another it'll more than likely be the safeguard.
I'm going to look at harness right now thanks for all the suggestions. I'll update everyone on my choice and the performance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Standard hss harness. I also use the q-safe moveable anchor when using my climber and highly recommend it.
Using the Tree Spider Micro Harness from Robinson Outdoors/ScentBlocker. It clips right into my jackets so I just have to do the belt and legs. Only 2lbs ish. Seems comfortable enough. Hope I never have to find out what it feels like to be swinging from it though.
Another vote for the HSS ultra lite flex with HSS rope tree strap.. very comfortable, quick and easy to use.
I'll be using a gorilla g-tec this season. Last year I was using a gorilla vest style harness, I never even noticed it while I was wearing it. Found a g-tec for 50% off, wasn't going to walk passed that deal. Not much different than the vest style.
