What happen when Zimmerman was wrong about a suspicious kid is important to me, not listening to the dispatcher and trying to play cop with a gun and looking for the kid.

For those above actions he needs to be held responsible to some extent. Being his life is ruined he pretty much is paying a price. What happen after like I said before I do not know.

I do like how it's always the kid doing the jumping in your speculations, lol

Tony that is a nice theory, but only Zimmerman is allowed to protect himself in this situation. All of us here would welcome the Captain of the watch following us in a car, getting out and looking for us and packing heat.

There is nothing suspicious about the above situation that would be suspicious to me. I know when I was 17 I would have thank Mr. Zimmerman for looking out for my welfare, and I would have gave him couple of my skittles:tu: For sure I would do the above if I lived in a high crime area like Sanford.

Innocent Until Proven Gulity, the kid was doing nothing wrong, last time I checked walking down the street is not against the law, nor is walking slow or wearing a hoodie. No need to go check out what he was doing, because he was doing nothing wrong.

    Re-read what I wrote:

"Now what happened after that call ended to me is the most important part. Did he lose sight of him and look for him and get jumped, did he just confront Martin outright, was he walking to where he told the police he'd be and get approached...who knows?"

Did he just confront Martin outright means just that and that may be what happened. My point was we don't know who did the jumping/approaching/confronting.

maybe it's me, but their is a huge difference between "Jump" and "Confront", it's always the kid doing the jumping. Thanks for the clarifying.

Did he brandish the firearm? How would the kid no that guy is packing heat? How do you know what the kid was doing prior or did when the situation unfolded? Apparently they do need to keep an eye on their neighborhood, check the stats posted 97 pages ago. It's a crap hole full of criminals and degenerates, well there are some other folks too...they're usually called victims though. I understand that it is your opinion that folks living in a high crime area should just mind their business but many folks living somewhere like that would probably choose to do otherwise and make their neighborhoods safer with neighborhood watch or some similiar program. This situation turned out badly and if he is proven guilty with actual evidence then so be it. I'm just not buying 2nd degree based on what we do know....which aint much..

Again Zimmerman did his job and took it one step to far. There is nothing wrong with neighborhood watch, nor reporting of things we all find out of sort.

It says he was looking for him we really don't know who approached who. Either way still not a crime to approach someone, maybe not recommended but not illegal.

You guys can wear matching pink tank tops on your patrols, then run away screaming when you see some kid stealing the chrome caps off of some bike tires ;) I'll take Doug, he will type out all of our Neighborhood Watch flyers. Of course noone will read them because they will be 761 pages long....jk Doug.

In case anyone is wondering it's called the "Last Word Syndrome".

So what the hot chick agrees with me, who cares about details when hot chicks are involved.

He went looking for him, but who knows who approached, lol

That's just funny line to me.
