No idea, the video is not very clear. All I want to see is a close up that shows no damage to the back of the head and nose. I'm tired of half assed media coverage and will gladly agree that he wasn't about to get his but handed to him once the two witnesses are discredited and some close up shots area available.

 

Does the guy look like he was in a fight for his life?

They had Zimmerman father on telling his side, it's priceless.

Not what you see in that video. Read back through this thread, his head slammed in the ground, a broken nose, an eye laceration.

If Someone has a broken nose should we have a bandage on it? Trayvon was 6'2, George is 5'9'' he pummeled the guy, the only thing George could do was shoot the kid.

Guy has a gun + someone punches that guy dead in the head and knocks him to the ground+ the guy feeling like he is about to go unconscious=Fight for life due to being almost unconscious and the potential for your gun being used against you. If that is Zimmerman's defense, not sure.

I am not saying that is what happened so let the facts come forth.

I'm not sure what to think about this thread anymore. If he was in a fight and losing(no matter what he looks like after) and his defense is that the guy that was winning tried to get his gun(for all we know is possible) it is up to the prosecutors to prove otherwise...if they even charge him. But hey I saw it on the news...internet...magazine....that he is definitely guilty so that's good enough for me. Unless I was in his shoes, then I'd want to be inncent until proven guilty.

If only it were as simple as a yes or no.

 

I agree I have no idea what to think anymore. Read the police report about what "happen" and then look at the guy. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out something does not add up.

Yes it's his word against a dead guy.

Read the police report about his injuries, look at the video. Does the injuries on the report match up to what we can see on him? It is that simple as yes or no. I am not asking if he is guilty, I am asking does this guy look like he got pummeled to the point he needed to shoot the kid.

 

Random Thought.......Another problem I have with the media circus is the possibility it has to impact witness cooperation or make them adjust or recant their statements for fear of possible backlash or just not wanting to be involved anymore.

 

Exactly and now who was standing their ground, the kid or Zimmerman. It can be argued both ways IMO.

 

It depends on if he confronted the kid or the kid confronted him after he started walking back to his car, I guess. Haven't really looked into that law I imagine FL has other self defense laws that could come into play as well.

 

The guy who signed it said it does not apply once Zimmerman step out of his car to confront the Kid.
