I'm headed to Colorado for an elk hunt in October. I live in Ohio and had planned on driving and splitting the time with my dad and a couple buddies. It's looking like I might be the only one going now and so I was looking into flying out since it's a 24 hour driving trip. How does this work though when flying? I have flown a lot, but I've never had to pack all my hunting gear and a rifle. What's your experience with flying and is it worth the hassle?

Contact the airline you are flying, they will have all the information you need.
