I have to admit, this has been one of my most trying seasons for big buck pictures in a long time. Normally during the summer I'll get some photos of at least 1-2 really good bucks on the properties I hunt. This summer has been a lot of 2 1/2's and maybe an occasional 3 1/2 if I'm lucky. And of course a few big does here and there as well, but nothing that really gets my blood pumping. Hopefully once October rolls around the scrapes start popping up I'll get a few bigger guys cruising through.

The last two weeks these were the only three decent pictures I got. The first two I believe are the same buck, and given the proper circumstances I would probably shoot him even though he's a young deer. What can I say? Mark Drury I am not. :D

This is the same tight-racked 10 point I think Mike has a shed from 2 years ago. A bigger bodied deer that's probably 4 1/2 judging from the photo/shed from 2 years ago. Hopefully I'll get a better look at him in a few weeks.

Yep, you'll hear that exciting rustling in the woods....

You turn around, and a dandy buck is coming up the trail behind you. Your job now is to place the arrow straight through the lungs.

I can see it happening now for ya Justin. Just let the woods bring you the experience this fall!!

I am VERY positive I have that deers left side antler found in spring of 06' at 1.5 yrs.

Putting that deer at 3.5 yrs.

In the second pic you can even see his stud of a body.. slender and well built like a quarter horse. More emphasis on the front shoulders.

Take him my friend and the antler is yours.

Yet another 9'er.. we got enough of those around here.
