Went to check cameras today. I had 4 cams out, the Cudde, the homebrew, the Stealthcam, and the Trophycam. Here is the tally after 16 days. Cuddeback; 6 pics, homebrew; 150 pics, filled card, Stealthcam; 450 pics, Trophycam; 100 videos. I retrieved Cudde first and it had six pics, pretty disappointing. Next went to the homebrew and it was absolutely full of the smallest ants I have ever seen. They and their pods were all through-out the case and the inside of the battery holder. Went around to other side of property to retrieve the other two cams and when I opened the door of the security box on the Stealthcam, there was a pile of shredded foam laying on the bottom of the case, I have a large piece of foam to stablize the camera but it's on top of the camera. So when I saw the pile of foam on the bottom, I knew there was probably a mouse at work. Sure enough, when I puleed the camera out of the box, there is the mouse, scaring me as bad as I scared him. Cam did have over 400 pics though. Next went to Trophycam. No adventure there, just swapped cards and set it to take stills. Lets see, 90 degrees, biting flies, mosquitoes, ants, mice, and sweating like a pig. Someone please tell me again how much fun I'm having.
