I recently picked up a grading scraper in order to maintain my 1/2 mile gravel easement. After using it the GF asked if it would work on the trails in our woods. Eager to show her the great value of my new toy... er, tool. I gave it a shot not knowing what to expect. We were both pleased with the results.

Looks great! We have one also and it is a great attachment. Heck, you should seed those trails. Looks like a decent seed bed.

It differs from a box scraper in that it doesn't have a back on it to hold material in. It also has 2 angled blades that slice through the dirt/gravel rather than scrape it. It's main function is to move material from high spots to low spots. As you go, the material breaks up and mixes, then fills in the low spots. Excess material flows over the blades and out the back in a nice level layer.

Box scrapers are meant to move larger quantities of material. It also has it's place. I don't own one.....yet.

You might want to think about an air boat. Might work on your food plots also. Can you broadcast rice?

The mighty Mule can go do it. The problem may be when I try and get the disc through there this weekend to get to my back plot.

I could actually drive in my plots for the first time this past weekend when I sprayed. I just hope we don't get a lot of rain this week. You are spoiled in your sand.

Very impressive, there's an obvious improvement in the trail after using it.
