Anyone use rechargeable batteries in their cams? I have a Browning strike force but the manual doesn't say anything about rechargeable batteries so I was hesitant to try them.
    Thoughts?

I've heard stories about rechargeable batteries, not willing to take the risk & my batteries usually last about 3-4 months before I have to change them out. That's good enough for me.

I don't use them. We just use Energizer Lithium batteries. They last about a year for us.

I use rechargeables in all my trailcams, including the Browning Strike Force' I own. They are a great money saver in the long run, especially if you run a lot of cams.

Anybody have more trouble w/ rechargeables in the cold? Mine hold up during spring)summer, but lithium seems best for the bitter cold temps.

No trouble for me with rechargeables during the cold. As a matter of fact, they do better than alkalines do in the cold. They do not do as well as lithiums but I check cams every 3-4 weeks anyway so using rechargeables has really not been any issue.

I have been using the energizer ultimate lithium but i am considering using rechargeable. The lithium batteries last about a yr in my cameras but i run 8 cameras and those batteries get expensive. Might have to switch but as far as i know you shouldnt have any issues with them in your camera

I started using them in 2 of my cams last season. they are every bit as good. Will have to see if they still work good in the next year or two.

Using a 12v battery from a trailer brake-a-way as a remote power source.
