How long do you leave them out at one location? And why?

I left mine out all summer and bought 2 memory cards for it and just kept replacing them every 2 weeks or so.... I really didnt have a rhyme or reason to where i put it, this is my first year of scouting and taking hunting a little more serious. I just picked a tree along a distinct deer trail and put some c'mere deer and got a few nice bucks on the pictures

When I trim my shooting lanes in Aug. I will set out some cams and I pick them up in about 3 weeks. Just to get a feel for whats out there. Mainly want to see whats moving thru well after dark.

I usually leave mine out for 2 weeks before i check it. I then move it to another area and wait another 2 weeks. There isn't a reason for leaving it that long i just like to keep moving it to find where the deer are moving more or less and when.
