I have used moultrie cameras for years and have been well pleased with them especially the battery life. I think for the price they are a good buy. I have used the m-80 and m-880 the last few years. I have come to the conclusion that you will need to buy new ones every year because a trail cam for me seems to last about 3-4 years.

Have 5 Moultries. Two of the big ones that take D batteries, a D-555, a M-880, and a M-990. Have never had any major issues and even the big old ones are still functioning. One of the big ones got chomped by a bear and I have to bungee it to the tree but still takes a good picture  . I will continue to buy them until I have issues.
