This is crazy and not to mention highly illegal. One thing the article doesn't really answer well is if people are booby trapping the cameras THEY put out to combat thieves or if they are finding other people's cameras and booby trapping them. I can understand frustration having cameras stolen but this is taking it too far.
Dang a comment on the original article says a guy got his fingers blown off when he bought a used camera. I'm betting the person behind the exploding cameras didn't take that into consideration when he decided to do this.
Eastern Kentucky man. Better watch you a$$ when your in the woods. Ever see the show justified? That's Harlan...well as depicted on the show.. My guess is someone had a grow patch, which is basically all of eastern Kentucky, and they booby trapped it with these cams. You see stuff like rattle snakes hung in trees, tripwire's rigged to shotguns, punge steaks, and mean a$$ dogs all the time, but explosive trail cams is some pretty inventive stuff.
