I just pulled my cards from 5 cameras and I got very limited deer movement the last few weeks. I am switching most of my cameras to water or over beans. I have 2 mineral sites that usually produce and they were barely hit (30-50 images in 2+ weeks)????

This is my best pic #HeProbablyNeedsAFewMoreYears

I did have one camera set over a pond but only got Does and Fawns

Neal I had more luck at my mineral sites than you but the numbers are down. Here is the biggest problem I think, with the drought the deer are not eating as much food or minerals. My mineral sites are usually damp and you can see where the deer have been chewing them down, but this year they are dry and almost rock hard. You can see where the deer have been pawing at them but they cant loosen the soil the way they normally can. I also notice more pics after it rains, but we really havent had that. Last week when I freshened minerals and checked cameras I did something I have never done before, I hauled gallon jugs in a back pack to my mineral sites and poured a gallon of water on each site. Good luck getting more pics and hopefully you can share a monster soon.

Thanks guys. Grant and I are heading to Wisconsin (Pepin County) next week to set cams there. Hopefully we'll have more luck.

Pat - we will probably try to set one on a creek crossing; those are sweet photos!

My mineral sites have really slowed as well. Here's what I have been doing in this hot dry weather. If you do it....they will come!

Its tough all over with this drought! I agree, put your cameras on water and you will find them, even if you have to put the water out for them.
