The PS1's or the no glow obviously will have slightly less night time performance, but I've still enjoyed them even then.

Yeah, that's okay. I'd like for them to work as well as the G42ng Stealths I've been running but they had pretty grainy night pics.

I've had a Browning for just 1 yr and it takes great pics, it was on sale for $100. Was going to buy another but that model isn't available anymore. I found a site https://www.trailcampro.com/collections/game-camera-reviews that for about $100 is a cam called spypoint force 10. Found this cam on jet.com for $75 each so I bought two of them. Compared to the browning their daylight pics are fuzzy and pixilated if you zoom in. They'll work for now but would buy a browning for the extra $$. You get what you pay for. 1st pic is spypoint & 2nd is browning.

I've had my Stealthcam G42NG's for some time now, leave them out all year in bear boxes (I hunt mostly public land). These cameras are bullet-proof in my opinion. I'm in Vermont. Snow, wind, rain, weeks of below 30's and hot, humid summers. Great images, great video, and most importantly...great battery life! I've had some of the old P-Series cams, but they weren't as reliable. I've heard good things about the new PX26NG too. Price difference is like $5 a piece between the PX and the G-42...I prefer sticking to what I know.

Okay so here is my one night in the field review of these "cheapy" Amazon bought cameras. Disclaimer: I bought these cameras to try @$69 each for a set of 4. I am not being paid to review these cameras.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y666514/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
BlazeVideo 16MP HD Trail Hunting Wildlife Camera, Hunter Scouting Game Camera Motion Sensor Activated Waterproof with Night Vision 40pcs IR LEDs Up to 65ft, Video Record, Snapshot, 2.36" LCD Screen

These appear to be low glow or no glow, the LED's are black. The box just says IR, judging from the way the night pics look I'd say they are no-glow.
It has a small viewing screen to program and review pics, it does pics, video and both pics+video. I have only tested the picture function. I don't personally care about the video functions as I never use those. I will test them eventually and try to post about it as a follow up. These will run on four AA batteries or on the full bank of eight AA batteries. Batteries sit horizontally in the back portion. I have a couple of Coverts that the batteries sit vertically and it's hard to deal with while on a tree. I prefer this horizontal orientation by far. Camera has 1,3,5,8,12,16MP settings I'll post a pic of the tech specs, too much to list. I found the settings easy to adjust, at least on par with my Covert MP8 blacks. The seals feel tight, the cameras feel solid, latches are good with metal bands, the straps are fantastic though a bit shortish, they come with an AV cable and a USB cable and decent instructions.

I set one of these up directly below one of my Stealthcam G42's last evening. The day pics are good, the night pics are ok but not impressive at all, honestly they aren't great at all but neither are the Covert MP8 Black's. The night pics are all tolerable to me and remind me of the Proof cam 02 I had last year except the day pics are much better on this one. Not great night pics but I didn't have any that I couldn't make out at all. Issues were grainy night pics, some motion blur and some light wash out in night pics which I also get all of those with the covert blacks. Now, the odd thing is that the Blazvid got several night pics of deer that my G42 did not. I don't know what the deal is with that, I'll try another test with another G42 tonight. I'm impressed with the Blazevids night detection though, it really got out there.

Overall I'd say the best comparison I can make is these remind me of my Covert MP8 Blacks, not a bad comparison for the Blazevids at all. The day pics are a bit better on the Blaze vids than my Coverts, night pics are about equal..maybe not as good on the blazevid. I'll do a comparison test with those two at some point. Catch is the Coverts I paid like $130 for, these were $69.

No way to tell about how durable these are yet but I'll keep the forum updated on that front.
Overall I give these a 7.75 out of 10 at this point. I've never seen the camera that got the 10 but here's a scale for comparison.
    10mp Stealthcam G42ng. 8.5/10 (no glow) $100
16mp Blazevid................. 7.75/10 (no glow) (due to overall quality and price) $69
    8mp Covert MP8 black..7.5/10 (no-glow) $130
    12mp Proof cam 02.........7/10 (no glow) $73
    8mp Moultrie M880 gen 1....6.5/10 (IR) PP2012 $120
    8mp Moultrie M880 Gen 2...6/10 (IR) PP2014 $125

As a follow up, away from all the pics.
    Would I recommend these cameras?
    Hmm...
I would so far and so long as it's understood that they are a $69 camera that I have not had long enough to test their durability. Functionality wise, they seem like a decent solid and cheap camera. The price drops to around $65 each if ten are bought in a package. They have some good functionality, the screen is nice, battery options and layout is good, features seem good.

If a person can live with marginal night time pics for a relatively cheap price...they seem like a fair bargain. Will they compete with a top end camera...LOL...no... day pics maybe compete well with mid tier level cams. To me a $69 camera competing with a $130 camera for daytime pics is pretty amazing considering the night pics are meh but passable.

My feeling is they would be great for backups, for places where expensive cams could "walk away" or as fillers where budgets don't allow for enough expensive cams to do what is needed...like an exploratory camera.

The swivel mount threaded hole is on the lid bottom, I don't think it's a huge deal. There are no loops for a python style cable lock either. It's a cheapy so there are some minor drawbacks.

They claim a one year warranty, who knows how good it is. Amazon has an add on protection plan for two or three years that's pretty reasonable as well.
I hardly ever use a warranty if something craps out. Exception would be if I just didn't like them I would have just sent them back. Returnable until Sept 21st 2017.

I may be a bit of a novice with trail cams but ur pics with the blaze are far better than mine with the spypoint cams. I put my second out the other day so we'll see if those r any better

If anyone else happens to try these out...don't forget to remove the plastic protection from the front lenses. The first pic I got trying them out were all wavy and blurry and I thought...oh man...then it hit me that I bet there was protective pieces on there and yep, there were.

Those are not bad pics for a $69 camera. Thanks for the review, Covey!

    Program options:

-How many picture bursts can you do?
    -Video + Picture an option?

Really thinking of these for a couple "high theft potential" spots and gate patrol cams.

Not sure, I'll go get one of the manuals and see if it says on the burst pic count.
Yes, it does pic+ video, at least it is supposed to, I've not tried it.

    Tyni,
The manual says the camera will take 1-3 pics. Video mode looks like is limited to 30 second maximum vids.

I received my Radix camera today, didn't get home in time to set it up but will do so shortly. I'll share some pics as I get them.
Tyni already has a great vid on them and Booner has a ton of pics up so anything I can offer will be redundant.

Pretty neat little camera, thing is so tiny it's funny. I'm not sure how I feel about the micro SD card.

I carry the adapter with the micro sd installed. Like that it fits in my pelican case. I cleared the ground under my mr5 in case I drop it.

I actually like the micro cards. Swap right into my phone and Amazon Fire. Keep an adapter for the laptop.

thanks for being our guinea pig on the cheapies. I'm tempted for public land in MI.
