What's your best estimated buck Inches wise that you've had on your trail cams? For myself I had a nice 10 point which I figured would go 150" which ended up being pretty close being my brother found his sheds later the next spring across the road from where I hunt. I've only been using trail camera's for 3 years this coming fall so I hope In time that number goes way up. To be honest that's why I got a trail cam, In hopes of catching that monster buck just one time on cam.
Low 180's for a non-typical... High 160's for a typical. The 180's was huntable to me, no luck but a shed antler of his though. The high 160's wasn't huntable.
I showed Mark Drury the pic and he said mid 180's. I think he is every bit of that if not more. Pic was taken 50 yards behind my house. I saw this buck 4 times in person in my neighborhood. NONE of them in daylight. Don't know what ever happened to him.
AMAZING!!! IF I had a camera and IF a buck like that ever showed up on it the first thing I would do AFTER regaining consciousness is call my family and tell them I will see them after season is over, then I would proceed to physically strap myself to a tree about 20' up for as long as humanly possible. That is just impressive
This may be the highest scoring deer I've got on camera? Hard to say, because it's not the best pic!! But I have a feeling that his tine length would push him up there.... Not the best pic - but the battery was almost dead... This is one of my favorite pics.... Unfortunately, deer population has tanked in my area, so I haven't been getting many pics like this the last couple of years...
Is the deer in your top photo, and the one on the right in the bottom photo......are they the same animal?
If your talking about my pics, the deer are different. The bottom pic (with the 2 bucks) was taken in 2006 in my 'home area'. The top pic was taken last year, over 300 miles from my primary location, actually in a different state even. Guys land that I was hunting on, was nice enough to 'babysit' the top camera for me last year after I initially set it up....
This dude on the left is one of the bigger bucks I have got on my cameras, as far as score goes, it is hard to say, I have heard guys say anywhere from 130" up to 160", I would personally think he was in the mid to upper 140's. the following year... My buddy ended up shooting this buck and he looks much bigger than what he actually scores, I believe he was in the mid 120's, I think he was 127" This dude was so close to eatting an arrow it wasn't funny, had him at 15 yards but he came in a few minutes too early one morning and I had to watch him walk by. I would guess him in the low 120" range This could be the biggest buck that I have ever got on camera but it is a pretty crappy photo. He was in the back of photo and I had to blow it up to get a good view of him. Depending on how many points he has, he could go anywhere from 140" up to 160". Not a trail cam photo but a still shot from video, typical 10 with nice tine length, I would have guessed him in the low to mid 130's... This dude ended up being shot by a female hunter with a rifle, he tapped out in the low 150's, either 151 or 153, can't remember...
Those are all nice bucks guys.... here is the biggest buck on the farm this year, I don't think he will score to great but still he is a nice buck for around here.
Got pics of this guy in 06 and 07. Not really sure on a score anyone else care to guess? Biggest buck from 2008.
I'm not sure what he scores. Cheap trail cam + foggy night = blurry pic. This one is from 2007. I've never laid eyes on either deer.
Great thread Steve! I see alot of familiar bucks. Here is the two biggest that i have caught on my own cams: 2006: 2008: Both pictures were taken from the same tree, on the same scrape.
