All but #5, I try to never put cameras in spots I plan to hunt, I want my first time in to be a true virgin set.

Trails and scrapes seem to work best for our property. I have moved them all over, to different spots, and I always get pictures of deer movement. Of course, some spots are more productive than others. I think I am just going to run mine all year. It's enjoyable, and it gives me an excuse to spend more time in the woods.

Spring thru.summer I run most of my cams on mineral sites that have corn toppers and the deer don't seem to care about the cams at these locations.
During a dry year it is easy to find places the deer drink water and that's a good spot for some pics

Food plots are good places if there small, some of my fields are over 100ac so it can be tuff when certain deer will bed in the crops like corn or tall beans like this season.
Fav spot for black flash cam would be a scrape site but set the cam up over six feet, get as far away as your cam will get pics and leave as little scent behind as you can as it's easy to change patterns of deer
I don't cam on trails anymore as even when I use scent control I tend to disturb to much and still leave enough scent to change mature deers patterns as my pic count dim with after each cam visit. I just have better hunts staying totally away from my kill site until I get into my stands which only see 1-3 hunts a season any way.

The only thing I would add is mineral sites I can check my cams every week and not bother the deer and the same for my water hole spot.the scrape cams may run all the way thru the rut with out being checked at all.
As for bedding and sanctuarys I stay away from them for the most part other then hunting the edge of them during the rut so this is how my cams run on this farm with heavy hunting pressure on all sides just seems To work for me.
