trail cam seals

    I was wondering when I'm not using my cams if it would be better to leave them unlatched to keep the seals from being compressed or does it not make a difference.

    I don't normally leave them unlatched but I always take my batteries and cards out. We put some vaseline along the seal before each season to make sure they are tight.

    I use a small amount of dielectric grease around the seals. Keeps them from dry rotting.

    I am not familiar with this concept.....lol I run mine year round...

    I'm lucky to get two year's out of a cam these day's..so seals are never n issue..
