Does anyone fix cameras? I bought two last year and neither one of the damn things work this year. One is a crapy wild game innovations and the other is a primos truth cam which I actually liked alot. Anyway rant/question over.

Did you try contacting Customer Service for either of them?

Time to make a switch to some better cams. Wonder why the primos died.

I have and have not heard back from them yet. The wildgame one will come on but not take any pictures and the primos one won't even turn on.(yes I tried new batteries) lol.

Man I sure do agree with you but I'm saving for a new bow and its hard for me to spend $200 on a camera. Maybe once I get my bow bought il start working on some better cameras. I don't care for video or anything like that, I just want it to take pictures. I don't rely on them for much I just like to know what deer are out there.

Best fix for a WGI cam is...
    Step1. Get cam
Step2. Place cam on sturdy surface
Step3. Smash to pieces with large blunt object. This can be a foot, fist, rock, of my personal favorite a sledge.

Step4. Order a Covert and never have to worry about such things again. Oh and the MPE5 is super affordable even whilst saving for a new rig :)

Wouldnt surprise me if the Wildgame was a SD card issue and not a cam issue Wouldnt hurt to try a new Sd card formatted in the camera if possible.

Never? so if my out of warranty Covert camera goes haywire, why shouldn't I worry? I know your statements' intention is that coverts rarely have issues and can potentially last forever, but that's a pretty bold statement... forever is a long time. how about until it's out of warranty, THEN goes haywire for xyz reason? I certainly don't expect electronic products that are exposed to extremes of heat and cold like trail cams to last or to be free from defects forever. I also don't expect a manufacturer to bend over backwards beyond the limits of our original purchase agreement of free from defects for X time period. I DO expect some products to last longer than others - I'm a 'you get what you pay' for kinda guy.

please note, I'm not necessarily knocking Covert or you personally, TJ. Obviously, all trail cams are subject to failure. the longer they have been in the elements, the more likely they are to have issues. And warranties are only as good as their time period... after that you're on your own or at the mercy of the manufacturer for resolution of your issue in good faith.

If the Wildgame is one of the micro ir series then they should replace it. I bought one then it did the same thing your talking about so they sent me another and it did it again so they sent me another.

I was largely suggesting that WGI cams are notorious for being junk. I know as I have personally owned over 20 of them and have had issues with all but maybe three as I recall. Additionally every attempt I made at dealing with the company whether under warranty or not was fruitless. Naturally anything is subject to failure. However with Covert I am extremely confident that should a problem arise, under warranty or not, they will do their best to rectify the situation. :)
