How would you assess this first deer? To me he looks young and his rack seems like its almost finished. Its hard to tell how wide he is and, of course, he might grow straight up too. Just curious your guys assessment. He is by far the farthest developed deer so far that I've got a picture of and I'm not too sure I've seen this deer before. Too early to tell. The other pics are some nice developing bucks just to share.

That first deer has a very straight back, no belly sag, and very defined line between the neck and chest. IMHO, he is a 2 1/2 and should turn into a very nice buck if given 2 more years.

Well he isn't a shooter but I just find it strange that his rack is so far more developed than the other bucks I have on film. It will be interesting to see him throughout the summer and into the fall.

he's a younger one, but I'd tell my son to take him in a heartbeat... if I saw one like that this coming season I'd take a pop at him myself... but that is only cuz I haven't taken an archery deer yet... if it was gun season I'd hold off on it...

He is a young deer. Like kicken buck said, give him a couple more years and he will be a stud...please share anymore pics you get of this buck, it will be interesting to see what he turns into.

I'd say he's a 2 year old. Um...is it me or is the camera playing tricks on my eyes...does he have dual beams on the right side? Looks like he has a G1 detached from the other main beam...maybe I'm losing it:d
