So I am thinking about trying out the tracer nocks but I have a few questions. How easy is installation for these nocks and also, do they change your arrow flight once installed?

Installation, very easy. No different than any standard nock.

Flight, absolutely does not change arrow flight. At least didn't for me but I'd always recommend you shooting them just to see.

Experience, I don't care for them and this is why. I've gone through 5 of them now. The first one broke. Easton replaced it. The second broke. I ordered 3 from Meanv.com and the batteries died very quickly. (no fault of MeanV).

I will not be trying Tracer nocks again.

I will try another, maybe G5 or Lumenocks? Don't know, looking for feedback myself.

(Note: the bad luck with the breaking is because of the lack of support within a big aluminum arrow, this is by no fault of the design itself but the stability of the electronics in a larger diameter arrow. I feel they are only good for carbon arrows with no nock furrel).

Super easy I did super glue the magnet to my riser though. No change that I noticed at all as far as flight. You will get those that will steer you to firenocks. Nice thing about tracers is they are available most everywhere and far better than lumenocks.

Tribal, what arrows are you shooting them in? Carbon? The reason I ask is my bad luck with them in big, heavy aluminums not to mention the pounding they got out of my 82nd. I might be tempted to use them again if I knew they lasted in the right arrow that supports the electronics. Have you shot them over and over?

I am using them in Goldtip carbons and I have shot them quite a bit in 2 years. I do however once I am done showing off to company or neighbors ;) stick them in my hunting quiver where they stay. It sounds like you may shoot them regularly so not sure what to suggest. I can say with how much I shoot them they have been fail proof unlike my experience with Lumenocks.

I honestly think it's the lack of support for the electronics once it passes through the nock furrel on the XX78's 2413's. The electronics are floating inside the actual arrow shaft. I think it would be better with the O ring that encompasses the electronics when inserting them into a carbon arrow of the same size. Your thoughts?
