I used the Trophy Ridge Drop Zone rest on my Mathews LX last year and loved it. I recently purchased a Mathews Switchback LD and started transfering my setup. As I'm trying to put the rest on the Switchback, I notice that the string for the rest is too short to reach the cable. The cable roller on the Switchback is a bit longer then on the LX.

Can I replace the string on the rest in order to get one that will reach the cable or am I going to have to eat it and buy a new rest?

No, you need to buy some BCY # 24 cord, the same as you would use for a loop. Most shops sell it in length. You will have to take the rest apart, but it's not hard. I get my from a nice lady on huntingnet.com who sells in the classifieds. Her handle is Redhdcharm. She sells 39 inches for 2.99. If ya can't find it or you need it ASAP I have some at home I would mail ya. You will only need a foot or so.

Thanks for the info Ben! That's good news. I think I know where I can pick some of that up. Thanks again!
