So was watching a few video's on the Toxic heads.... Has anybody used them that can comment on them? do the fly like field points? did you get good penetration? I'd be mostly interested in using them for Deer, but possibly also for Bear hunting.. Not sure i want to stray from the fixed 2 blades for bear hunting.. Possibly just swap back an forth? any thoughts?

I have not used them myself, but a buddy of mine swears by them. He said it leaves a massive blood trail on deer. From the videos I have watched, they get good penetration.. but who knows how heavy of an arrow, how much draw weight, how far away it was shot from, ect. More cutting surface equals more friction to slow the arrow down.. so it's a give and take on that end.

I was curious about them as we'll but never pulled the trigger. They have them CHEAP on camo fire so I may have to pick some up. I highly doubt they'll replace the killzones in my quiver though?

I tried them last year. Shot my bear with one. Had no complaints. Practicing and all shot good to 30 yards for me. Was a little off after that but that probably was more me than anything, and hadn't planned on a kill shot beyond 20 anyway.. I'm still trying a few different heads before completely setting on a permanent one. My buddy shot a deer with one too. Good blood. Overall can't bash them. Just want more personal experience with others too before true verdict

I just bought some for this year's deer season. Target shooting they are as good as my FP's. The blades are replaceable and you can have all 6 or or just 3 blades, I believe, like their Cyclone BH. I'll let you know how they do.

Interesting story... I have an old level 3 stab vest. Stops any knife, ice pick, dart, anything humanly powered you can throw at it. The vest completely stopped a field point, Montec G5 had about 1mm of penetration & the Toxic had about 3 mm's of penetration. So that may be of help. I'll take some pics of the vest or maybe do a quick video to post. The vest was impressive but the Toxic had the best penetration on it.

I was given a pack of them last year and tried them out. Shot a doe broadside at 17 yards. Complete pass through and she only ran about 30 yards before falling. Center punched her heart. I was quite surprised at how little blood there was though granted she fell within sight so it didn't matter. Needless to say, I'll stick to the T3's. I had them on my arrows for bear hunting last fall but never got a chance at a shooter bear.
