Ah good point LOL I have most of October to hit the woods during the week and weekends depending on work. She was looking for more since several backed out on her and her two friends so I gathered up 3 folks to make it a team! Plus, bow season goes until 31 January here.

I'm going to be busting my butt the next three months to get ready for this, it will be tough but it will be fun. I've dealt with some grueling obstacle courses during these past 17 years of Army, so I just have to suck it up and drive on! Will feel like a great accomplishment to finish it, my goal is to complete every single obstacle.

This might be a really stupid question, so please don't take it in an insulting way, but is drive on something that people in the Army say a lot? Because our high school biology teacher is ex army and he's the only person I know who says drive on and we were confused this past school year. Or is it just a common saying? Also, thanks for your service.

I guess it's a typical saying, heard it a lot back in my Infantry days.

I'm looking forward to it Matt, showed your video to Kimberly and she is stoked also. She's done several other runs like this so I have to kick my butt to keep up with her! LOL So I'm guessing you recommend holding the hands in front of the face for the electro shock obstacle?

Yeah, hands in front of the face, and just run fast. It's ALL luck. They send the electricity in pulses, so some lines aren't even live if you hit them. I didn't even touch one until halfway through, but none of them were pulsed when I hit them so I didn't even get shocked. My buddy running right beside me wasn't so lucky. Locked him right up and he face planted.

Hooker, you would have ZERO problems with it.

Knowing my luck I'll get the wires when they are pulsed and face plant myself lol

I've ran in two! One in Kentucky and one in Ohio. Might be going to Florida this November to do another one. You're going to have a blast. The feeling you get when you finish is so great, and the beer you get tastes pretty good too, lol. My friends and I are going to try to do one a year in a different state. The electroshock is for sure all luck. My first run in Kentucky I got lit up, face planted twice and crawled out, this year in Ohio I only got shocked once and it was a small one. Good luck!!!

You doing the one in Florida on the first weekend in November? That's the one I wanted to go to but she already had their team signed up for Charlotte months ago then people backed out and I got asked to fill a team slot.
