Actually the looks of the C.S. are the only thing drawing me towards it. I think it's unique. But if I had to pick today it would be the Faktor. Waiting on the Elites though. I do like the free replacement strings every two years on the Prime. Dang it why can't I just have the money to buy all three!
I like the Faktor 30 a lot myself...the Carbon Spyder is sweet...but I'm not paying what they want for it.
I bought a Mathews chillr and love it, the last bow I had was a Martin cougar and I cant believe how smooth and light it is, I just dont understand why everybody hates Mathews so much. I wasn't the biggest fan of the design but the performance did the talking. I would have taken a look at the new Bowtech but they don't have any new models where I am yet.
Speaking for myself...I don't hate Mathews, they make fine bows. I just don't personally care for their waffle iron patterns on their risers. I wouldn't buy a truck that I thought was fugly either...doesn't mean it wouldn't perform well.
Honestly you cant go wrong with any of the bows you mentioned. If you shoot them you will know which bow is right for you. I can guarantee one of them will stand out to you. All of them will get the arrow down range. You just have to pick the one that fits you best and feels right. If it does everything else should fall in to place. Of course support is an issue if you don't have the equipment or ability to setup and tune on your own so that has to be consider as well. Sorry no easy answer here. But I have shot all the bows you mentioned and decided on the Elite Energy because it felt right to me. I also liked the Hoyt as well and own a vector and Spyder 30. The disqualifying factor for me on the Carbon Spyder was the price but if you have it in your budget don't let that stand in your way. Good luck!
This reminds me of the stupid claims edenpure heaters made. If you want to know who makes the best bow just ask them. Prime has proven itself by what standards?
