What would you recommend for a tournament bow? What axle to axle length or brace height length should you look for? Also what ranges can you expect to be shooting? Thanks guys

Unless you just want a separate bow for 3D you don't actually need it. I shoot my hunting set-up in the 3D tournaments here. I shoot the Bowhunter class and the max yardage is 40 yards. If you shoot this class I would imagine you'd be shooting around that max yardage. It seems though that most of the targets are 25-35 yards. The local clubs also have an Open class that has max yardage of 50 yards.

Hey thanks, but I'll be buying a new bow hopefully after this season and I'm looking for a duel purpose bow that would be fast enough for hunting and yet accurate enough for tournament

Anything in the 34-37 inch ATA with a 7 inch plus BH will nicely suit both purposes.

Ok, but what is the advantage of having a longer ATA because I like 29-33 ATA bows

A longer bow is more stable then a shorter bow.
