I don't have a whole lot of land to hunt (about 27 acres), but I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to share any advice based on the attached picture. Generally, I'm forced to enter from the west side (trying to rectify that). For scale, the east property line (runs north/south) is about 500'. It is in NY, and is mainly young hardwoods (most trees are under 12" in diameter at the chest).
my opinion is you need to find a spot right where the 1600 is. Bucks probably bed in the swampy area and walk that creek to the food plot. Catch them in trasition and they'll never know what hit em'. Otherwise hunt the food in early season.
