Does anyone know of any good topographic map apps for Android? I just downloaded the US Topo Maps Free (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.atlogis.northamerica.free) and was wondering if and what others used?
I've been using hunt stand, t he free one. Don't know if its the best map wise but I use it to mark stand and other locations. It uses google maps though so may be about the same as most the others.
I'll have to look and see what that one is about. It's not compatible with my phone Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997
Hi wreckless. Careful with that app. I had the same one and liked it initially. I go scouting some public land with my brother just before opening day of gun season right? Well, after I "pinned" a couple of choice spots, the app tells me I have to upgrade to the pro version to pin anymore than 3. Long story short, I did the upgrade, a slow process out in the boonies with a 3g or worse connection only to find that my initial pin locations were lost. I recommend you buy the pro version to avoid this problem.
