What direction does the wind usually come from?

I used to hunt a lot of Public Land and not claiming to be a know it all but I had a lot of success finding pinch points, saddles, and open areas, if your able to hunt these areas I marked a few in black/orange that I personally would target...2 of them right on what appears to be a stream, any water on property is good imho.... again though there are far more knowledgeable people on here that would be best suited to give you input

Those are pretty much where I was thinking also. Thanks you! This helps a lot. I’m just looking for some feedback to be sure I’m not way off. Hopefully a few others will chime in with their thoughts.

    1) Go to wunderground.com
    2) Go to the "More" tab and then click on historical weather.

Then you can search the weather in that area. It will give you a good idea of where the wind comes from when you will be hunting it. Might help you make better decisions on where to focus your hunts.
