Just leased a new property could use some help disecting it through topo maps.

The property is basically a big woods property with some creeks running through it. There are plenty of mature hardwoods and oaks on the property and the only field edges are on the outside edges of where the property abuts the neighboring properties.

The property sits on the side of a hill and from walking it there are definitely easy travel corridors in certain locations. We've also cleared some old logging roads to open up some very easy pathways so we can drive our 4 wheelers in should we need to.

The property is approximately 105 acres and consists of all the land within the black square north of the road. I've included the surrounding area as I thought that may help some when disecting the map.

I also posted an aerail photo of the property with some color coded lines. The red lines are cleared logging trails, the black are logging trails to be cleared over the next month. The green patch is a clover plot with a corn feeder. The white box is a proposed sanctuary area with some very thick cover.

The yellow dots were proposed mineral/feeder sites and the blue dots are my proposed stand sites.

Let me know what ya think and where I should place my stands this fall.

    Thanks

    Seneca

Seneca, I will take a look at it when I get home later--not that I am an expert or anything, but maybe I can help get your brain moving.

Put the coordinates into the this webpage seneca and tell me if this is the property, then we can take a look at it...put the coordinates into the white box on the bottom and press "find".
