Throw it in the trash. Can’t kill anything in that old junk. But for real I think that type of camo is making a comeback. I’ve seen people wearing that type of pattern recently. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think Drake camo has brought the pattern back ir one very similar to it. Dr. Grant Woods and the Growing Deer crew wears it. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
ummm....quite a few deer have probably seen me in my underwear. I sweat like a pig so not uncommon for me to strip down in the afternoons. Although none are $200. More like $30 max; and that's if I'm springing for scentlock or merino wool on clearance from STP, Camofire, etc. what you're probably seeing is Mossy Oak Bottomland. They are similar from a few feet away and overlapping in eras of popularity. That is making a big comeback. I could be wrong but I have not seen anyone hocking any new Treebark hunting clothes recently. Although a quick Amazon search I see that Northface of all brands is making Treebark in kid's sizes.
So what your saying is that one of the biggest anti-hunting "outdoors" companies is trying to profit off of an hunting camo pattern to profit of the wannabe outdoorsman hipster types and their children? Nice.
Out of curiosity, what makes The North Face one of the biggest anti-hunting companies out there? Because they donate to the HSUS?
It is getting tough to get dressed anymore, can't wear nike, north face, I was going to say UA either but US is a nonfactor. Any other brands I need to burn?
From what I have heard, that would be the main factor that makes me hold this opinion. HSUS does a more anti-hunting and endanger species lawsuits than actual work for unwanted pets, unlike local humane society organizations, which actually do take care of local pet populations. At least, this is my understanding from listening to Steve Rinella and Randy Newberg on their podcasts. Perhaps North Face is not intentionally anti-hunting, but to me it amounts to the same thing. If North Face is not truly anti-hunting, they should be more careful about what organizations receive their charitable dollars. I personally will not spend my money with them. I think hunting clothing companies are catching up and producing as high quality outdoor clothing as non-hunting focused companies like North Face. I would rather spend my money with these companies.
Don't forget Yeti, need to find another place to put your beer when your out hunting! They dropped the NRA, so everyone was pissed and blowing up there coolers. Sent from my SM-G900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
In my opinion that is a different situation. The NRA came off as whiny cry babies in that one. Still won't spend money with Yeti, because of price, not politics or business decisions.
great...now I'm down to Columbia, 5.11, Carhartt, and Huk. So I'm either a cop, farmer, fisherman, Faux-Dark-30, or a wannabe....oh, wait.
I agree it's different. Sota was just asking what other companies got people all pissed, mostly just a joke Sent from my SM-G900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
The Oklahoma edition of this article would have to include a jacked up Jeep that rarely sees mud and is covered in Punisher stickers. Cross fit for bonus points..
Probably from Chi town.... Just in case that was just sarcasm, The Punisher is a Marvel comics character brought to life on Netflix.
I'm hunting in ripped blue jeans and a corny winter sweater in the morning Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Hey there is an idea, ugly hunting sweater contest. In order to enter you must harvest a deer while wearing it. We could even have a sub category of airbrushed state fair sweatshirts.
Seriously!? You haven't seen this plastered on every Jeep up north like they are here in the south? And yes, Netflix did a good job but the comic came out in the nineties and was way awesome.
