Well fellas just picked up my tags and license so guess I'll at least be legal this year ha. Still got few stands to put up and need go start shooting some more but than that pretty much ready. Anybody else got any prep to do?
***Team 10*** I don't have any stand prep left to do but I will be moving cameras around quite a bit and practicing my shooting. Have 2 nice bucks on camera right now that I'm hoping to get a look at on opening night.
Nice ones! Bwang, my season starts the 12th too, where are you? The fiancé was away this weekend, so I was able to scout a new spot and hang a few stands. The new spot looks really promising, nice funnel and stream crossing along the side of a small airstrip. I just brainstormed some team names to get the ball rolling: ( I'm sure some have been used before) Death from above, top pin for the win, treetop terror, ten points or tag soup, ten point comeback, blood in the tracks, the track stars, track and field, leaves down-bows up, clan of the bow, broad head heart attack...I could probably go all day!
I have a little prep work left. Spent last three weeks getting fall plots in. Have one left to put in at the in-laws. Been toying with the idea of a new release. Haven't pulled the trigger on that yet. No pun intended. I've posted the plot pic's in the food plot section.
I primarily hunt the 30 acres I live on and a 160 acre farm down the road. I have one trail cam. So far this is the best buck on there. Getting psyched up for season.

Nice. If we can actually connect on some of these, we will be a formidable team. I had this 2 year old 10 pointer show up too. If may neighbors don't shoot him, he'll be super in a couple years.
