Haven't been out for couple days. Weather hasn't been very good all weekend. Plan on still heading out though.
Someone needs to tell Umpire Jim on our team to put an updated pic of his buck on the scorecard. He is costing us points since he failed to put his bow in with his buck.
Tagged out in IL Sunday evening. Too bad I can't register him since I'm deered out in this contest. So much for me being a grasshopper!
I've got two more hunts planned but if we don't some cold weather I'm not going to be expecting much.
Started out in the 20's here this morning. Clouded up and probably won't get out of the 30's. I'm headed to the stand in a couple of hours to set for the rest of the day.
Hey guys sorry been kinda busy with work and other stuff. Haven't been out lately but hoping to start getting in some late season time starting this weekend. Temps are kinda cold now but are supposed to warm back up next week. Should make a interesting end to the season. Good luck anybody else who's heading out.
I did make it to the stand Thursday evening. About 4:30 the deer started coming out. First one was a shooter. Problem was 5 of his 9 tines were broke. Hopefully he is still around next year. I'm off next week. Hopefully get to put some time in hunting. Supposed to be pretty warm for the end of December.
Awesome late season score Jim. Went out some this afternoon, saw maybe 5 for all out of range. Been seeing them hit the wheat fields a lot lately so gonna try another spot tomorrow see if that works out.
