Now that I've taken a doe I can get back to business and chase the big guys. Here's a few new pics of the ones I'm chasing. Wish the one would show up with some better pics so I could tell what he was or if he is the same. I really don't think its the same buck. Thought the bottom one was Charcoal but it's not.
Saved what I thought was my best stand for an all-day sit yesterday "magical" November 7th....didn't see one deer all day. Back to the drawing board.
Movement was a little slow yesterday here as well. But they are chasing from time to time. Passed about 5 120 to 130" bucks last few days. Need a monster to walk by

I just can't seem to get it done. Saw fawn on Friday, passed a young 8 pointer on Saturday morning. Last night I saw 3 bucks, one shooter that walked past me at 10 yards but it was to dark to put a shot on him. Had a few daytime pics this week so they are moving in my area. Maybe this weekend.
Yesterday was the first day I had noticed any real interest in our area. Hopefully it will pick up soon.
I just had a little 8 come in to some rattling. Good sign ! So far I haven't seen a shooter from the stand. One was close, but luckily didn't give me time to think about it. Good luck out there!
Great sit! I saw four bucks, two little guys, one close to 100", and something big on the other side of the clear cut. I was rattling, which seemed to get them to come by. None really responded to grunts though. Still, this was sit #5 at this stand, with nothing to show for the other sits I was getting kinda bummed, even though there are about a dozen scrapes around, and bedding nearby. So I was pretty happy to see some action for a change. I got in early, that seemed to be a big part of it. Seems like things are finally happening here.
Sounds like a good night so that good. I won't be able to make it out again until this weekend and have been contemplating taking off next week. Next Thursday start the first gun season and it usually slows down a lot after that
Sorry for not posting much! Have been super busy, but almost got it done Saturday night on what would of been close to my biggest buck. Still got time I guess!
Just got out to my bale blind, hoping something is moving in this bad weather we're supposed to have but idk.
Good luck! I set up my pop up for the same reason but weather hasn't quite hit yet. Watched a big ten run by a house I was working at at noon. Can't wait to get one in my sights!
Yea the weather that they kept predicting hasn't hit yet, don't know if we'll actually get anything or not. It hasn't been bad at all really.
