I am looking into 3 scenarios:

Kill plot - clover, chicory, etc

Late season plot - brassicas to provide nutrition in harsh winter months

All year long plot - plot that can keep deer coming and fed all year long

What is everyone's thoughts on best approach and what is everyone using for their brand of choice? Most blends seem very expensive, do you agree or is it worth it?

If you buy a bag of seed that has a picture of a buck on the package you are over paying. Go to a feed mill or farm store and buy seed there most feed mills sell all the varieties of seed you want. The all year long plot, go with a mix of clovers.

I have been buying at a local seed store for the last 5 years. The deer haven't noticed the cost savings of me mixing my own blends.
