Post up your personal top 10 QB Lists of all time right now at this moment. DO NOT EXPLAIN IT BEYOND JUST STATING IT...I'm very curious to see some of these. I will then post a graph depicting some of the findings. Remember this is if football ended today as we know it. So no future projections or expectations can come into play. **If you want you are allowed 2 QBs as the last ones left out. ONLY TWO THOUGH! I'll go first: #1-John Elway #2-Joe Montana #3-Tom Brady #4-Bart Starr #5-Johnny Unitas #6-Peyton Manning #7-Brett Favre #8-Steve Young #9-Terry Bradshaw #10-Dan Marino *Last two on the outs: Roger Staubach and Otto Graham **I should have clarified, feel free to comment and discuss if you wish, but within your post itself please just state your list.
1) Elway 2) Brady 3) Montana 4) Bradshaw 5) Unitas 6) P Manning 7) Favre 8) Marino 9) Aikman 10) Namath *Honorable mentions to Kurt Warner and Drew Brees
1. Brady 2. Manning 3. Elway 4. Montana 5. Favre 6. Marino 7. Brees 8. Warner 9. Graham 10. Unitas Honorable - Bart Starr and Terry Bradshaw, for being winners in a running and defensive age. On the outside looking in - Aaron Rodgers. 10 years from now we could all have him at #1.
my list is pretty much the same except bradshaw would be in for graham and marino would be behind brees Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2
1. Montana 2. Starr 3. Elway 4. Marino 5. Unitas 6. Fouts 7. Graham 8. Luckman 9. Aikman 10. Kelly No particular order after Montana.
Montana, Brady, and Manning are 1-3. All have an argument for first. Id put it Brady, Montana, then Manning but couldn't argue with Montana first. This all based on ESPN Classic footage and career/ season to season stats... I'm not "lucky" enough to be old enough to have seen him play live like some of you old farts.
Montana could throw a football better than anyone else I've seen. His ability to come through in the clutch was legendary. He was also very mobile which to me sets him apart from those other two. Aaron Rodgers reminds me a little of what it was like to watch Joe play.
I'm a Packer fan, so obviously a huge Rodgers fan, but sorry I can't give him the nod yet, still young and if career ended right this second as this thread was directed I think he'd fall short of the list....however 2-4 solid league leading years and he'll easily be there, win a super bowl or two and he's top 6. Love some of the Otto Graham love, lots of people wouldn't even recognize his name anymore.
