When you read a bow sight description and it says tool less, what does it actually mean? Is it it like the TR React where it is completely tool less, or what exactly does it mean. Reason I'm asking is because I'm in the market for a new site. Thanks for the help it is greatly appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Pretty sure it means the windage and elevation doesn't require an Allen wrench to adjust. Still need a tool to mount to the riser. Sent from my HTCEVOV4G using Tapatalk 2
Yeah it means that it is just a knob to adjust wind age and elevation Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I have the Apex Bone collector Game changer. Its tooless but you need a asmall allen key to adjust pins.
There are some sights that have micro adjustable pins as well. I know on one of the Black Gold sights you can have a inch wheel that moves the pins ever so slightly.
How practical is that? I'm sold on a tool-less sight that allows me to adjust windage and elevation on the fly, but once I have my pin spacing dialed, I don't touch them. Windage and elevation are all I mess with. Sent from my HTCEVOV4G using Tapatalk 2
It will make it easy to adjust a little and know where you are moving the pin instead of loosing the Allen screw and moving a inch either way then forgetting where you started. Then if you ever chance arrows or anything with your set up it can be a simple change like stated above. Sent from my XT901
My Sword Twilight Hunter has a tool-less kit added. I can loosen either the windage or elevation bolts without a tool to adjust, but I still need a tool if I want to move individual pins-
