I finally made it out for my first hunt of the season and decided I would take my girlfriend out hunting for her first time ever. Weather was perfect, picked a spot and set up my new groundblind (Barronett Bell bottom). It was a great afternoon, we had a little 4 point buck walk about 3 yards from the blind. Wasn't quite sure what we were but he hung around for about 15 minutes. Then a little while later we had a doe come sprinting through with a coyote chasing her, but it gave up the chase real fast. Then as it got dark a bunch of yotes started howling nearby. After explaining that I was passing up on the little buck to let him grow she said I should have shot him since he was right there and asked when she could start hunting. I would call that the most successful hunt I had without shooting something.
Sounds to me like the bug bit her bad lol... Glad that you were able to take her out with you and show an up and coming hunter what the excitement is all about
