Is it possible? I think it is. Obviously you need an arrow rest, but after that everything else is optional. I discovered yesterday, that I like the way my bow balances, weighs and shoots better, without the string stop (it was an after market add on that came with the bow when I bought it). Some people go without a peep which I tried and didn't like so I put it back. I'm still on the fence about the stabilizer. The extra weight is both good and bad but it does make a noticeable difference in vibration. Ideally, I would love to shoot instinctively with nothing more than a rest but I don't have nearly enough time to make that happen. Considering that it seems many bows are decked out with stabilizers, sights, rear sights, peeps, silencers, string stops, quivers, etc., what is "missing or removed" from your rig?
I don't have any string silencers. I keep bouncing around from brand to brand, and I've had nothing but issues with them. I think shooting my bow every day wears out the silencers rather fast. I have a friend who makes custom whisker silencers and I'm thinking about trying those out.
I use a hip quiver instead of mounting it on my bow. I am somewhat unique in that I don't transport my bow and equipment to hunt.
On my bows I have a peep sight, bow sight, wrist strap, arrow rest, stabilizer and mount for my Epic cam. I have a quiver on my bow, but I never shoot with it on. It is there to carry my arrows.
i use bowjax silencers served into my string on my bow and they have lasted over a year. i have speed nocks, string suppressor, string silencers and a peep on my string. my stabilizer is a 10" bee stinger extreme hunter. i dont feel anything when i release an arrow from my insanity.
mounted my quiver on the buttpack belt to take it off the bow while still hunting. otherwise use the sights, rest, peep, string stop, string loop string silencers.
