Growing desperate here in NE OK. Gun season is effectively over (no problem as I prefer bow hunting). Food plot designed for winter feeding did not come in at all. Dumped some rice bran out before the rut and have been seeing large bucks at night only. Now that rut is over and we just had a big snow and temperatures are in the low 20's or even single digits at night, I am looking for a new strategy. Here is what I am thinking but want to know if it is too late in the season to try it. I am thinking about putting in a ground blind in the middle of a group of cedar trees and putting a feeder out in the open area in front of the blind. This general area is a known travel area (saw the tracks thanks to the recent snow). Is it too late to try giving them a food source? Sean
