I have three choices with a south wind.

    1. RR Grade
    2. Cotton Woods
    3. Mock Scrape Setup near where I saw the Big 10(About 50 yds)

    I like 3:)

    Neither.

I'd call in your old buddy Greg and see if he can close the deal. :D

I'd stay the hell away from #1. With your luck you'd end up getting hit by a train somehow.;)

Well... if you're gonna keep him all to yourself, I'd at least learn from your last encounter and move down to where you saw him the last time. :)

That's the RR grade stand. The woodline you see to the right is the old RR grade. Behind me on the river you can still see the old wood post where the bridge went across.

I have killed a few deer in that spot;), never a buck, but I did see my 2006 buck Oct 15th from this stand.

Whichever spot you pick, Gary, I'm betting you see a buck fawn. ;) Those odds are pretty good. I'm hoping you see the big 10 though.

There is a little buck fawn running with a 1.5 6 point, it's just funny to watch him trot behind him. He's like his little brother:)
