    They dont suck.

The Pack scored 8 more points then the GREATEST OFFENSE TO EVER PLAY. Rodgers got some stuff done, and looked alot better then Manning did a few months ago.

Its boils down to this. Seattle's offense isnt great. They have 2 playmakers (Harvin, Lynch) that carry the team. Their defense IS that great. How great? BETTER THEN THE 1985 BEARS GREAT. The offense does what they do because the defense doesnt even bend. They dominate.

I was wrong on my prediction. I had faith that Dom Capers/Mike McCarthy fixed some of big problems with this defense. I thought we would get better secondary play and our pass rush would improve. I was wrong wrong wrong. Our defense is the same garbage its been since Nick Collins got hurt in 2011. Nothing has changed.

This^^^^ They have the '85 bears D. They have a pounding running back with a decent OL. They have a QB that manages the game, is mobile, and makes great decisions. Sure the Pack would have to get past Seattle somehow to get to the SB. But you can't measure how good they are based on playing the Monster Seattle is right now.

Our defense stopped their offense dead in its tracks 5 drives in a row. And we dropped 2 interceptions.

But their defense also stopped our offense on all but 2 drives. They will win with that type of play EVERY TIMES.

I was rootin' for GB all the way bein' a 49er fan. Heck I'll root for anyone playin' Seattle. (no offense to GB. I've had Rogers as my starting fantasy QB the last 2 years). Seattle's D is really good and they manage a good game on the O side. It's gonna take a nearly perfect game to beat them this year or catch them slippin' on something when they are on the road. Lacy with the late game departure will not help GB either. Good luck this season!

I think many are underrating their offense because of the greatness of their defense... They are still putting up great numbers against solid opponents. They just don't give anything back in return on the flip side.

A lot of blind homerism was put to bed.

Hooker if you are reading this I hope our game goes a little
    better.

As I figured a lot of people are over reacting both directions. Seattle as long as their Defense does what they do they will forever be a tough team, if not the toughest we've seen...however that said all you gotta do is make their average offense one dimensional they become much more beatable. GB's defense failed to do that and you see what happens.

Likewise people are over reacting about GB as well. Is their validity in that GB's D sucked last night and appears to be going to all year, YES.....does it mean it will, NO. A tone needs changed on D for GB and that can still occur but it can't wait for mid-season it must happen and stick now before week 3 or 4 or else this season is setting up to be another 8-10 win season with no real hopes for a SB (Rodgers will get us at least 8 wins). This team is sick on Offense but the lack of focus on OL and D is this teams achilles for sure...and that MUST change or Rodgers is gonna end up like Peyton, a QB with 1 ring and should of beens and could of beens...

Should have listen to me after I was at the Oakland game and saw how bad the secondary was first hand. They are going to get torched all season.

If the O-line is not able to play better the Pack will not have a sick offense this year...they will still be good but not great IMO

The defense will be average at best

Yesterday wasn't on the secondary though. We had no pass rush and even less of a run defense. Wilson didn't put up crazy numbers, and his 2 touchdowns were on TRICK plays that other teams would never dream of running.

Where was the "assault and peppers"?

Where was Mike Daniels, AJ Hawk and Datone Jones?

No wonder Hyde won the safety job...Haha can't tackle worth a damn.

You're right they looked like crap across the board. HAHA I hope had some game day nerves or something because he looked like crap. Shields? dropped an easy pick.
The offence didn't do much better Rodgers killed that one drive by throwing it away when he was a couple steps away from the first. Fourth and 5 play was stupid.

^ times 1000. As Lacey develops, GB will get better but they have a lot of work to do before they return to SB contenders.

I agree Dean. I know for a fact that we are an average team with a great quarterback.

Usually that's enough for a football fan to be happy with.

The thing that worries me is this, Rodgers windows of greatness is closing. 5...maybe 6 more years tops. I hope he can play past 36, but I wouldn't count on it.

I think GB is just a little short on depth as was evident after Bulaga got hurt last night. The revolving door opened once he went out and poor Rodgers didn't stand a chance. There is no doubt Seattle controlled GB's passing game, but at the same time I think the Packers shot themselves in the foot a number of times. Get rid of all those errors and I think GB could have won that game. If I was a Packers fan I wouldn't sweat that game. I'd pray for Bulaga and Lacey to get healthy and ride out the season. Let's face it, there is a strong chance you will be divisional champs. If everyone is healthy come playoffs, I could see the Packers giving Seattle a hard time. That's coming from a Bears fan ( even though Pats are my Number 1). It's just one game, don't jump quite yet. Although it would be nice to have a few less Packer fans in this world! :D

Caleb it's why I have said for years that Thompson is an average GM at best. How has this team improved in the last five years. Take Lacey out of it and I don't see a impact player in recent drafts. How did his first round pick of Sherrod look. Without Rogers were a four to five win team.
