http://beeradvocate.com/lists/popopular my goal is totes as many as I can out of the top 50. Sadly I can't ever find any around my neck of the woods.
I've only had like 5 on that entire list. Some of those beers you will only be able to taste if you go to the brewery on a certain day. I mean "bourbon barrel aged vanilla bean dark lord"? Regular dark lord is almost impossible to get itself.
My local grocery store has founders centennial ipa, Red's rye pa. They do not carry breakfast stout which I would love to try. They also started selling Stone Ruinition IPA in 4 packs for $10. A lot easier to justify than spending $16 on a sixer.
I was going to buy some breakfast stout earlier this week but Friar Tuck's was out of it. I haven't had it yet but heard it's damn good. I bought some Bell's double cream stout instead which was pretty good too. I recently had some Sierra Nevada Bigfoot barleywine style ale that was damn good as well. It's such a big world out there for beer.
My curiosity got the best of me and I had to try one of these. I have no idea why they call this an IPA since there is no hop taste at all
Didn't realize you were that close, I'm just west of Albany and work just on the other side of the river. We should get a beer sometime!
60 Minute is a solid IPA. I prefer 90 Minute, but 60 will do. 120 Minute is a beast of a different story.
