Toms are starting to strut

    This past weekend I was up to my land and saw several groups of turkeys with the toms strutting! I can't wait!!

    I seen 6 toms strutting a week and a half ago with about 20-25 hens. It was pretty neat to watch.

    I cant wait to check my trail cameras this weekend to see how many toms showed up,

    Besides a monster buck, theres no better picture to get then a strutter....

    Strutting here in Kansas too. Archery only the first week of April, can't wait.

    Heck yeah! I saw 14 toms today, along with about 40 hens. 2 of the toms were actually fighting, it was the first time I have ever seen that in person. They didnt even notice me driving my truck hauling a trailer until I was about 75 yards from them :eek:

    Yep, I can't wait either. The boy gives it a go first during the youth hunt then its my turn a couple days later! Good luck brothers!!!!!

    Seeing lots of strutting specifically if it rains, fields are then full of them.

    I saw two strutting today as well. One ole tom had a single file line of hens following him. I'd never seen anything like it before. Wish I could have gotten a pic.

    Its not unusual when the weather starts to get warm they really start doing their thing but i have also seen turkeys strutting in the middle of November
