I have a feeling it will be touch and go at first...but at least the line at the window will be gone.

Still $20 and you have to re-watch the video, they updated it.

Sometimes idiots need a little slap upside their heads every once in awhile. :) And by the way, I can almost assure you I know which kid it was acting like that, I have had issues with him in the past. All it takes is me walking through the main door and speaking to him face to face. People have courage when they think they are protected by a door or window, but when confronted up close and personal they tend to lose that fake persona pretty quick.

I really hope that people do not abuse the system and that it runs smooth. I should be down there Thursday or Friday to get my passes and watch the videos....what times of the day are the videos Sean? I was going to scout tomorrow but I am helping a friend.

Are the check in times still the same?

They run it every hour or so...

William and I are going out this morning also, might see you.

We were going to go our early, but just had a family crisis... My daughter busted me last night putting a dollar under her pillow. I hate the fact my kids are growing up. Doing damage control right now.

The only way to neutralize that issue is for you to put on some wings tonight, carry a wand, put on a little make-up, and deliver the goods after your daughter has taken a benadryl or two to induce a dream like state.

We scouted the cemetery on 15C, tons of turkey sign, heard hens all around us. Found what appear to be a few bedding areas, but very little sign other then some fawn sized prints in the road. Went from LZ Penguin over to the other long skinny LZ...not much around,

Went over to 15B, metric ton of acorns on the deck from last year still and some new ones...again very little deer sigh. Tons of turkey sign. Stands and signs of blinds folks had built right where I wanted to hunt so it kind of validated my thoughts from turkey season it would be a good area...but no sign of any deer, crap, prints nada...

Freaking seed ticks were insane, William had about 50 on his right foot. Had to use deet/repel as a solvent to wash the damn things off him! I am itching all over just thinking about it...and we were pretty well covered in Repel.

    Disappointing day for deer scouting.

Sean, I would take very little stock in the lack of deer sign right now as a reason to be worried. I have killed deer out of 15C with my bow and when I used to hunt with a gun. The deer are so dispersed right now and can browse/eat anything they want. Once the hunting pressure hits they start bedding in and exiting their bedding areas in predictable spots. I can send you a labelled map with some of the conistent patterns I saw and used on 15C. I really like 15C but have not hunted it much in years. I must have hunted 14A and 15C for 5 solid years with a good deal of success.

Do not worry teammate, the time of season is upon us to KILL! And KILL we will!

Left you a VM...did you scout today?

Got invited to dove hunt tomorrow, he was looking for more folks to come. $20 for the entire month and he said its a huge place to hunt. You have my number. We are meeting up in Stafford at 1400 and heading out west on 610.

Unfortunately I have been helping a family friend move to an unsafe living condition. I have been moving her stuff for two straight days. I missed the doe opener yesterday and scouting today. :( But hey, when people need help they need help.

GOOD luck tomorrow on the dove hunt! I have never dove hunted and in fact I have not hunted with a gun in over 5 years. :)

    Come on out with us..

Its not a sin to use a gun, in fact I kind of rely on them for job success...

Dove hunting is a trip, lots of shooting, few hits. Got a big old box of Federals for tomorrow. Cheap fun.

Sean I really do appreciate the invite. But, I will be on dad duty tomorrow as my wife got invited up to the USA Women's basketball teams practice in DC. She will be gone until at least 3-4 pm.

I hear you on the gun thing and in fact, I had one strapped to my waist yesterday. :)

Hahahaha! If I could control a 2, 6, and 8 year old while gun hunting doves, then I might get a national award as dad of the year.
