Looks like I'm going to take the job, but it's going to take a little while. I can't leave this facility just yet, so it looks like it will be May before I get up there. Time to start house hunting via internet!
Looking for a place in the country for sure. Doesn't have to be anything fancy at all. A three bedroom ranch home would suit me just fine.
Congrats man! You'll love it! Let me know when you make the move. Brad's new land is between us and we can meet up there for a few beers and moon his trail cameras, when he's not around.
I'll PM you with some decent land search sites for the area to get you started. I like to think I'm still fairly on plugged into the market since I have been watching things for the last 3-4 years while looking for a property to buy. I just bought mine last fall.
Yeah great......... just what we need. A good reason for Dan to travel my direction. Just make sure when you moon them that your BHC butt tattoo shows up so I know it's not the neighbors or some homo trespasser. How did I find out about that? Vito told me about it.
You may want to look at places on lakes also. They have really gone down in price the last few years. Some great lakes in that area. Mohawskin is my favorite. Houses with land have also gone down in value. I work with some of the realtors in that area. If you have any questions on them PM me.
Just remember the taxes are pretty high when you have lake frontage. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Update... Had a little turn of events here in the last few weeks. I was all set to head to Tomahawk on the first week of may. A couple days before I was heading out, I got a phone call and an opportunity I couldn't turn down. It was a lateral move, but it put my about 40 miles from my sons and that was all of the phone conversation that was needed. So, I'm back in IL. and able to spend every other day with my boys right now. It's been an adjustment from Fort Worth, Texas to the Chicagoland area (forgot how rude people could be), but I'm happy. Found me a place in the country about 45 min south of the city and I'm starting to move in now. Funny how things always seem to turn out for the best.
