great author. Helped re-new my interest in reading, which definitely made my life better and more interesting. I doubt any other author (sorry Tolkein) has more 2-way (books and movies) fans. Read several of his books from 20' in the air waiting for a deer to cruise by.

Favorite titles, anyone? For me it's Patriot Games

Good writer who loved his whiskey and smokes. Through his writings he won't be forgotten any time soon.

Great author and well respected in the military community. One of the reasons he had so much access to their goings-on.
