Terry Bradshaw was mediocre at best, youve lost your right to this discussion.

Terry Bradshaw also had an ok defense on the other side of the ball.

Bradshaw?? No way! Also, Cunningham is not in the hall and Swann shouldn't be.

Where is Green Bay? What do they pack? Just kidding, I have a very good friend who plays for Green Bay (AJ Hawk). I love to give him crap about Pittsburgh and then they beat them in the Super Bowl!. He is a class act and has been a fabulous mentor to my son who suffers from epilepsy. His room is an AJ shrine!

Today's players are bigger, stronger, quicker and faster. Not only that, they have more to process and must do it more quickly as, again, players are bigger, stronger and faster. Yes, the rules may be more stringent for the safety of the players but athletically, there is no comparison.

I hope some of you guys realize that you have to adjust a bit for the inflated passing numbers that today's qb's put up versus guys who played 10...20...30 years ago.

It is a MUCH different game now with different rules which are always changed to help offense and make defending the pass more difficult. A defensive back was aloud a lot more contact with receivers previous to the past 10 years. Offensive lineman get away with blocks today that would be considered holding before. QB's are more protected by rules today than ever before.

Cam Newton threw for over 400 yards in each of his first two NFL games...I guarantee you...this would not have happened 20 years ago...or even 10 years ago

The changes in the game make it very difficult to compare qb's of today with those who played in the past. Montana's passing rating is easily the best of his era and the Superbowl performances are off the charts...back when completing a pass was a bit more difficult than it is today.

All I know is if I were a defensive player with a game on the line...the last QB I would want to be facing in a clutch situation would be Joe Cool...I hated watching the Vikings get carved up by him in playoff games.

Theres also the "Coach Bill" effect. The attitude of the game has changed.

So you could care less or you couldn't care less? Your post seems to indicate the later not the former. Just saying
