Theoretically speaking, if he continues his beast mode campaign, wins another Super Bowl, and a SB MVP...is he the greatest ever?

As much as i love to sniff Rodgers Jock...Tom Brady continues to improve in every way.

Packers vs Patriots Super Bowl? Now that would be good TV.

Wait until CAM NEWTON gets some stuff around him..... :D I think for what it's worth, Brady is probably the BEST we've seen to date, and the receivers he has really are the stuff that you'd expect to find at a Div. II-A university..... :D

Well, his best year did come with Randy Moss, and that Wes Welker guy is pretty damn good...

I think the Pats are one of the most fun teams to watch right now. They seem to be more prepared and more complex, compared to their opponents. It's like they are in a different league right now. It's the QB and the Coach that make them better than anyone else. I agree that Brady -v- Rogers would be a great Super Bowl, but I'd prefer to see Brady -v- Stafford. Go Lions!

it's easy to be a good quaterback when you have a head coach that tapes the defense calls/plays. you know exactly what to do against them.

For real! Brady being on pace for a 7500 yard season is hardly impressive given his situation!

I've been a Brady fan since the Drew Bledsoe days and the 2001 season...still remember that super bowl against the Rams. So while biased, I do believe he is/will go down as the GOAT.

I believe Brady is probably the best QB I've seen play. Even better than the former Vol and beloved Peyton Manning.

Brady will certianly go down as one of the best to ever play the game.

I would not put him ahead of Joe Montana though...Joe cool always came through in the clutch...4-0 in Superbowls... imo the most accurate passer the game has ever seen...also was very mobile and was great at making plays out of the pocket (this may be the biggest thing that separates him from Brady)

X2 IMO! Very close, but Montana is slightly above Brady. Both unbelievable at what they do/did. Was also a different style of football in Joes day. Those 49ers teams stick out in my mind as being the ones that broke through on this pass first/ pass a lot high flying offenses. Seems like the rest of the league back then was still smashing people in the mouth with the run game and throw a play action or 2 for a deep chance a game in there. Now, if you're not a pass first/heavy offense, you're going backwards in this league.

At the end of the day, it's all about the stats. You can make all kinds of comparisons, Manning for example, and even though I bleed blue and am totally biased against ANYTHING patriots, at the end of the day, Brady has 3 rings, Manning 1. Look at playoff records.

I don't like Brady, and I hate the Pats, but yes, if he continues, he'll be the greatest.

great QB no doubt. my buddys always tease me cause i cant stand the separate rules QBs have. i have often refered to Brady as a big Unicorn standing back there in the pocket, just waiting... waiting..... waiting.... calmly, flat-footed. never panic, just cool. again great QB but not the best ever. lets wait till the guys are done playing before we pull out the words BEST EVER.

im sorry! yes IF he continues he very well could be considered one of the best ever after its all said and done. sorry simon didnt want to sound bad in that first part...

    Umm
Montana had the greatest WR of all time and a hell of a TE to throw too. Could Montana win with NE weapons?

Even the second best receiver (Taylor) on those 49er teams are better than anything Brady has had outside of Moss' one good year in NE. Craig was also better than any running back that has stood behind Brady.

Joe's career numbers aren't that impressive. All time ranking...TDs(9th), completions(10th), yards(11th), rating(8th), completion %(11th). Are those the numbers of a greatest QB of all time? I'm not so sure. He won 4 super bowls though, and in the end, thats the stat that counts the most.

Tough to pick the greatest QB of all time. I don't think there is a clear cut winner yet. Brady has probably done the most with the least, if that counts for anything.

Montana won two Superbowls before Jerry Rice was even on the team and the Niners were a pathetic franchise before Joe got there.

He also led Notre Dame to a National Championship. I think he has proven his ability to win as much as any QB that has ever played.

Terrry Bradshaw! Threw to Swann, Stallworth, Bennie Cunningham. He made them all hall of famers!
