For the record, down 4 with 2 minutes, I'd be asking for Brady. He's freaking scary. There's alot of QBs out there that have the capabilities to do it a lot of the time, but I'd bet he's got a better percentage of success, if percentages are allowed.

Caleb, (or any other real fan) do you have some stats on who's the best at the 2 minute drill?

    Today, I'd pick Brady, too.

But, a lot of us can remember the times when QB's didn't have the luxury of throwing the ball out of bounds to stop the clock (w/out risking a loss-of-down penalty). They also couldn't spike the ball to stop the clock. And, their receivers weren't in the witness protection program.

QB's of yesteryear (and not that distant) who were really good at the 2 min. game had to be able (and willing) to suck it up and move the ball downfield, themselves, if that's what the situation dictated.

    John Elway wrote that book.

Someone needs to pull stats on the pats running game...

This will help show that Bradys is ONE of the best (top 3-5), we never have a running game which truely relies on Brady's arm, AND offensive line AND coaches plays / game plan...

What no Steve Grogan in this equation:)

Team event... a bunch of pretty good players are better than a handful of elite players!

This can't be an apples-apples comparison to many variables...

O.K. you wanted the stats go check them out here :http://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/tiny/yEp26
Big Ben reigns supreme in the 4th qtr comebacks in the time he has been in the league! currently credited with (22). so like I said if you are down in the 4th qtr w/ 2 minutes to go, Ben is the best.not to mention his other stats Most wins as a starting quarterback in first five NFL seasons (reg. season only) - 51 (from 2004–2008.
Second quarterback in NFL history, along with Peyton Manning, to register three perfect passing games during the regular season, and the only quarterback to ever register two perfect passing games in one regular season.
Ben has only had (3) seasons with a 1000 yrd rusher & the 24th ranked offensive line in football. So you take who you like in the 4th quarter.I'll take Ben.

Tom Brady has nothing to do with my next statement. But, since comebacks were mentioned......a 4th quarter comeback although a cool stat can be a questionable stat. Maybe the QB is trying to bring his team back in the 4th quarter because how bad he may have performed earlier and now his team is behind. Just ask Jake Plummer.

Defense wins Championships. That is why both Brady and Big Ben have multiple rings. Give them the Colts defense and see if they have the same outcome. Neither Big Ben or Brady (not including 2007) would be able to go out there week in and week out, put the team on their shoulders and out score the other team. At times I wonder why the colts even send the defense on the field. The other team should just flip a coin to decide whether they get 3 or 7 points on their current possession.

As soon as the steelers lose their phenominal defense, Big Bens true colors will show.

I beleive the patriots have the worst ranked defense in the league this year, at least they did before the jets game. But the pats also have the most ppg this year, thanks to Brady and his all star cast

New Englands defense is a little soft this year. But it is their passing defense that is hurting them overall. otherwise they rank in the top half of the league in most other categories. But my opinion has been based off the past years. I havent really considered this year with it still going on.

What makes the patriots so amazing is solid players on both side of the ball.they have tom brady, benjarvus green-ellis,deion branch, woodhead, alge crumpler, ron gronkowski
wes welker. they extend the running game by short yardage passes that go for big gains.the o-line is the most valuable when you can stand in the pocket 6-7secs and more on occassion that is the true game winner.
The Defense is less than it was years back with vrabel, bruschi and that whole cast.
They have alot of great players banta-cain,jerrod mayo,v.wilfork, jermaine cunningham, patrick chung.
they obviously are good enough to go anywhere and shut people down and keep offenses on the side line and brady on the field! not a whole lot of come behind wins this year! they are a very solid team and a scary opponent!

What are the records of Brady vs. Big Ben? I think Brady is 6-1 against the Steelers in his career including playoffs. What is Bens record against the Pats? Just sayin.....

Yeah i know what i typed i said "the patriots"not brady! I'm not saying brady is a bad QB.I'm just saying in the 4th quarter w/ 2 minutes to go coming from behind that I would choose roethlisberger.

No matter where he ends up in the rankings I wish the Redskins had him.
He is better than Manning (Colts) IMO.

Well, lets see, Pats needed a 4th quarter comeback and got it. Brady got the job done. Steelers needed a 4th quarter comeback and Ben couldn't get it done.

I REALLY thought it was going to happen. You know what, though? The Steeler's should be putting themselves in a position earlier in the game where that isn't necessary. The Jet's played better hands down.
