i'm a steelers fan and kimo von ollenhoffen did take out palmer! the league caters to manning and brady its no big secret.watch any colts/patriots game and you'll never have to worry about the o-lines hands getting cold b/c they are so wrapped up in jerseys they'll stay warm all thru the game! 2 of the least penalized teams in the nfl and the 2 QB's with the most time in the pocket come on! when you are back there for 9-10 seconds after the snap there is somebody holding i dont care what jersey you are wearing!

what????? are you serious none of those are better than ben including peyton or brady! you said ben relied on a great running game and defense.then you are saying that the 3 rings that brady is wearing is b/c of him? no sir his rings came from bruschi, mcginnest, vrabel, seymour, mitchell, nugent and the guy who really did it vinatieri not to mention deion branch.come on this dude had randy moss and couldnt get the job done! manning has had edgrrin james, marvin harrison, dwight freeney, bob sanders, joseph addai, dominic rhodes, reggie wayne, uthect, dallas clark, stokely and is supposedly the most cerebral qb in the game and he was drafted in 98 and didnt get a title with all those weapons until they beat the bears in 07 come on!
big ben had small 185lbs willie parker and old ass jerome bettis, old hines ward & antwaan randle el and if i'm not mistaken he ended brady's 21 game winning streak.has the most 4th qtr comebacks you need to check the stats b/c big ben has been here for a shorter amount of time than either of brady or manning and is already accomplished more than manning with lesser talent and never choked in a bowl appearence! brady has been here longer as well w/ better recievers and a tough defense and of course league protection and only has one more ring and a choke experience in the big game as well! he has the highest passer rating as a rookie and the highest completion percentage as a rookie, tied for the most TD's on a MNF game (5) longest nfl winning streak to start a career and no chokes in the big game with guys named moss or wayne ! big ben is a beast he's a 6'5 265lbs brett favre and doesnt get the credit he deserves! as a matter of fact i believe that it was peyton choking in that afc championship game in his own house against us.you remember how they cheated us when polamalu int'ed his hind end and the refs said it wasnt! so i go for a qb who has the record among active qbs for fourth quarter comebacks and 2-0 in the big game! not 1-1 or 3 won by venatieri & the one he choked on when ol'strahan was trying to rip his head off!

Their just like us? Most have played the game at the NFL level. I think their credibility Isn't just to bad.

lost credibility on that how? facts are facts brady has been in the league 4 yrs longer than ben. big bens first year we went to the afc championship game the next year we won the super bowl, the next year super bowl slump, the following year super bowl winning td in the 4th qtr with :35 seconds on the clock, next year super bowl slump, now we are playoff bound.now for brady, his rookie season 1of 3 passing for 6 yrds,2001 -the tuck rule,he got injured by pittsburgh in the afc championship game b/c he cant run and venatieri won his first super bowl ring.2002- nothing we'll call it s.b. slump.2003-venatieri again 2nd ring!2004-played us in the afc championship game ben threw 3 int's and sealed the deal for mcnabb to choke and send T.O. into rantville as mcnabb threw up on the field ring # 3!2005-ass handed to them by denver sent home tails tucked big ben's first ring!2006-brady choked and threw a super bowl present to peyton.2007-eli struck back ha-ha brady choked withDonté Stallworth, Wes Welker, Kelley Washington and Randy Moss; tight end Kyle Brady; and running back Sammy Morris how?2008- he was soft and got exposed sent to the sidelines injured for the season.guess who won again? ha-ha the guy you said wasnt even top 10!2009-got beat up in his own house in a wild-card game by the ravens. pathetic! apparently flacco is better than him too! (ha-ha) who dat? sent peyton to archies house all choked up! and here we are at the present ! so in big bens first 6 seasons we have been to the afc championship game, won 2 super bowls are going to the playoffs this year, lost to jax in a wild card game and didnt make it to anything once.peyton is a 12year vet and hasnt accomplished that yet! brady is a 10 year vet and only has one more ring then ben and one more loss than ben! so if thats the 2 best QB's of now then big ben is walking the dog on them and them other clowns you referenced who are they? drew brees is the only one of them with any credit and he wont beat atlanta so he's done for this year! and as far as schaub goes andy ried will let him back "kibbles'n'bits up in philly next year ha-ha.ryan is still young so i'll hold off on him. rodgers ha-ha yeah i seen how great he was up in detroit the other day ha-ha green bay might want to sweet talk brett ha-ha rodgers is a lil'shaky from that little hit he's soft! phillip rivers is he that guy that used to hand L.T. the ball? ha-ha come on buck be serious!ha-ha like i said in the 4th qtr w/ 2minutes to go big ben is the best among them 3.brett is the iron man of football plain and simple. thats a tough S.O.B.! 40 years old and playing in the nfc championship game steady getting the snot knocked out of him by younger stronger men and he kept getting up and playing the game! you have to respect that! thats grit and a champions heart! I'm a diehard steelers fan but always have respected and admired brett.

My Brady pick was of current players guys. I realize Elway and other greats are still probably a better pick than him for an all time list, I just meant of current guys in the league, who is your pick to lead you to a last second come back?

Comparing Big Ben to Brady or Manning is just embarrassing, quit while you are still ahead. :D

Big Ben is one hell of a competitor. He is an elite QB that just wins.

well for all you who say i cant compare ben to brady or manning please tell me why? i'd love to hear why? please give me your reasons b/c i'd love to hear this. ha-ha especially from any of you who said favre wasnt an all time great.

well lets make this easy to read.sorry about the rambling earlier, like any diehard fan i get carried away at times. this thread was originally about tom brady being an all time great and i stated my opinion "no"and gave my reasons.i replied to a comment about who i wanted on 4th down with 2 minutes to go.now you cant just say i cant compare the 3 qb's when guys w/ a hell of alot more football knowledge than any of us already have! especially when you dont use reason to back-up the statement. big ben has been in the league for 6yrs. if you compare his time in the league to either of brady's or mannings first 6yrs in the league ben is better!
he has a better arm and is a better athelete than either of them,he's more mobile,he's stronger and has accomplished just as much or more than them in a shorter amount of time with lesser talent on the offensive side of the ball.
To say you cant compare them is ignorant.its better to say the truth that you dont want to compare them b/c the facts will shine! I'll debate w/ anybody on that!

you say this and act like my statement is funny or irrational :lmao: are you serious? the analyst on espn are former players and coaches and have extreme insight guys like ditka, cowher, johnson (the coach) sharp, dungy etc. most were great players and coaches but they dont have a better understanding of the game than us regular joes who may or may not have played in school :lmao::lmao::lmao:

No they don't. They can all talk for an entire week about what they think may or may not happen in a game. Study every angle and discuss every possible scenario. In the end it's simply an opinion like everyone elses. Nobody has a single clue what will happen in an upcoming game. (See Jets vs. Pats last week ... for one out of a zillion examples). If you listen to all of them there's not many that have the same opinion either. Lot of differences of opinions on who's going to win and why. So what makes them different than anyone else? Hell most of them had the Cowboys going to the Super Bowl. A lot of them had Favre playing monday. etc... etc... etc... How'd that work out for the experts?

bigbuckdown, I mean this in the nicest way possible and I really doubt that I am alone in this thought.......CAPITALIZE AND PUNCTUATE. :throw:

It will help your case, not much, but at least it will help the people that are explaining your love affair to you understand the depths of your disease.:)
