Today's list of things that have crapped out at the resort...

Let's compare notes. The place I've gone for the last 9 years in a row had... a water heater blow, some guys from Penn. almost burned down the island by placing what they thougt were cold ashes from their stove in a beer flat(cardboard) and placing it on the porch, the head cook/chcf walked off because.. well he was lazy. Guess what, most of the 31 folks in camp never knew he left. The owner, his wife and the rest of the staff made it all happen so nicely. SO.... quit your *****in.

 

If your refering to fitz you can do us all a favor a forget about this site. The guy is nothing but nice to everyone and for you to be like that is completly uncalled for. Plus you run down a guy on his homemade blind for his family. Its a forum, chill out.

It just got rediculous as I found out about everything within 30 min of eachother.

Dave, sounds like the guy that tired burning down one of our cabins a couple years ago, moved into your territory. I'm just glad that our 100 year old log cabin was saved.

This week looks easy... though I should watch what I say. One of the groups in camp is the group that has had a van crushed by a giant pine, and a member drop dead of a heart attack while on a hike all in the last few years while staying here! They were also here when our Big red pine got struck by lightning last year. They're just plain bad luck... silly Iowegians

 

Slow down big fella. You put more meaning into my post than was intended. I know Fitz is one of the good guys. But yes, my remarks were intended for him. I was "Comparing notes" of resort ownership/management. Nope, sorry, don't want to forget this site just yet. I'll let you know when I do. You haven't been here long enough to know everything or everyone yet. Don't assume everyone is attacking everyone. Obviously you carry a grudge for some BLIND??? Don't know what you're talking about.... unless someone made a piece of crap. LOL

 

Im not carrying a grudge but when you put down a mans blind for his family to hunt out of on the internet its a little ridiculous. We are all hunters here and we dont need anyone giving anyone any crap for something that works for them. The guy made something hes proud of and wanted to show us. Give him a congratulations instead of snide remarks on how you would never use it and it was a waste of his time.
